Project Chloe, has been mentioned twice in my blog, here and here. 23rd November 2008 marks the official actual scene shooting of the cast. It takes place at Chung Ching Middle School, Seria, Brunei Darussalam. Around 20+ people, including the cast, crew and friends attended the first shooting. We got to know and corporate with each other to achieve the common goal, project Chloe. Everyone was very supportive, the cast worked hard in their timing of speeches, the crew shared and contributed their ideas and knowledge and friend’s present was definitely warming throughout the shooting.
The first scene (29th scene) started at around 7:30am+ with a nice sunny weather, thank god it didn’t rain. It was followed by 6th, 10th, 7th and 17th scene in sequence. Before getting you guys bored by typing more, let me present you with photos of ‘in the making’ on that day and some ‘nice shots’ near the end of the post. Let’s roll..

// CCMS’s entrance. Nick, the Assistant Director & Consultant for ‘Chloe’, was on the second floor for some test shots.

//(From right), Chris, the Director/Producer/Writer is getting everyone into position. His effort is the greatest amongst everyone.
Chloe (Emily), the main female lead for ‘Chloe’ checking the script. Her acting is good.
Calvin, the second male lead as Elvin, he is the best person for his role.
Queenie, roleplaying a teacher in ‘Chloe’, she’s expressive, as always.

// Some of the cast.
(From Left) Eric, is a PR and is involved in Camera operation too.
Chris, Nick and
Siung, contributed as a Camera Operator, Script Supervisor and Script Editor

// (From Left) Emily,
Marline is roleplaying ‘Marline’ in ‘Chloe’ as a student, friend of Chloe and Jess.
(Ea Hui, Yaya), is the second female lead for ‘Chloe’ as Jess. They are friendly.

// The equipment used and a live sneak peek of them on screen.

// Chris trying out the angle and outcome. Despite wearing short pants, Chris was sweating all the way.

// Nick waiting for the next scene to get ready.

// (from left) Darren, roleplaying as Elvin’s friend 1 in ‘Chloe’, Calvin,
Jian Ye, role playing as ‘Siung’ in ‘Chloe’ and lastly,
Kim Ming, role playing as Elvin’s friend 2.
“Ni shi xia zai qi fu ta kan!’ (dare you to bully her again!) – Elvin’s speech with anger.

// Crew and friends.
Sheau Hung (second from left) is the Personal Assistance, Script Supervisor and Script Editor of ‘Chloe’.
Kelly Ling (far right) is the make-up artist. All of them are nice people.

// Friends who came and support.

// Chiu Yen, roleplaying ‘Hui Wen’ in Chloe. She is getting ready for filming.

// Hui Wen (Chiu Yen) and
Malcolm (Samuel Ho), he is the main male lead for ‘Chloe’.
Guess what is the relationship among them?

// Elvin (Calvin) in one of the scene. I shot this through the classroom’s window. He was speaking with Chloe (Emily).
‘I remembered you’ (in chinese) is his exact speech in the film with this pose.

// Elvin, with rich colour and contrast. Great model + Great editing = Great Picture.
@Calvin – ever paused for a second and thought, ‘who the hell is this!?’ =p

// Chloe & Elvin.

// Chloe (Emily). I love the chinese font used here. It’s cute. Chloe as well.
Do you feel intrigued to know the whole story, after scrolling through the photos? Apparently, the video will only be releasing next year after completion. Shooting of all scenes is expected to complete before February 2009. Video compiling and editing takes some time as well. We will try to complete it as early as possible and once everything is done, we will make an announcement through our blogs. Till then, stay tune to our weekly progress.
I’ve got more pictures but I decided to upload these only, sorry if I’ve excluded anyone. Feel free to approach me (when I’m free) for more photo opportunities. Please drop by Chris’s blog for more up to date news and information. Jess (Ya Hui) had blogged about it too at this post. If any of the cast and crew owns a blog, please drop by and let me add you to my blog roll. Chris, notify me if you found any error regarding the information.
According to Chris Chong, 2 of the scenes requires a reshoot, 1 scene is left out due to the tight schedule, we had to shoot again. Summing up, I had fun shooting the event. I am involved in Chloe Project as a Photographer and Camera Operator (no picture of myself). Thanks everyone for the corporation and let’s continue to work hard for the common goal. For your info, I’ve edited all of these pictures, (cropping, exposure, colour, contrast etc). To get hold of the photos, please bring your storage device on the next filming. It was nice meeting you all, let’s not forget all the NGs, cheers, and hope you all enjoy the edited photos. Thanks again, feel free to drop me some comments!
