4 December, 2008 Jayden 20 comments

Hello everyone, casts and crews of the Chloe Project. I’m one of last to update on the latest filming whereas Yaya, Chris Chong, and Summer have already posted theirs. (Is there anyone else with a blog posting about ‘Chloe’? Feel free to drop by your link)

I will not be blogging much on the descriptions of the second filming. Let’s just enjoy the stream of photos of that day.

I am saving some of the nice photos for the finale. ‘Scene-like’ photos will not be released. This is to keep everyone in suspense of how the output will look like in the end. Thank You for reading, more like, viewing. =D

Chloe 1st Shooting

25 November, 2008 Jayden 33 comments

Project Chloe, has been mentioned twice in my blog, here and here.  23rd November 2008 marks the official actual scene shooting of the cast. It takes place at Chung Ching Middle School, Seria, Brunei Darussalam. Around 20+ people, including the cast, crew and friends attended the first shooting. We got to know and corporate with each other to achieve the common goal, project Chloe. Everyone was very supportive, the cast worked hard in their timing of speeches, the crew shared and contributed their ideas and knowledge and friend’s present was definitely warming throughout the shooting.

The first scene (29th scene) started at around 7:30am+ with a nice sunny weather, thank god it didn’t rain. It was followed by 6th, 10th, 7th and 17th scene in sequence. Before getting you guys bored by typing more, let me present you with photos of  ‘in the making’  on that day and some ‘nice shots’ near the end of the post. Let’s roll..

//  CCMS’s entrance. Nick, the Assistant Director & Consultant for ‘Chloe’, was on the second floor for some test shots.

//(From right), Chris, the Director/Producer/Writer is getting everyone into position. His effort is the greatest amongst everyone.

Chloe (Emily), the main female lead for ‘Chloe’ checking the script. Her acting is good.
Calvin, the second male lead as Elvin, he is the best person for his role.
Queenie, roleplaying a teacher in ‘Chloe’, she’s expressive, as always.

good-collection-10-copy

// Some of the cast.
(From Left) Eric, is a PR and is involved in Camera operation too.
Chris, Nick and
Siung, contributed as a Camera Operator, Script Supervisor and Script Editor

good-collection-16-copy

// (From Left) Emily,
Marline is roleplaying ‘Marline’ in ‘Chloe’ as a student, friend of Chloe and Jess.
(Ea Hui, Yaya), is the second female lead for ‘Chloe’ as Jess. They are friendly.

// (from left) Darren, roleplaying as Elvin’s friend 1 in ‘Chloe’, Calvin,
Jian Ye, role playing as ‘Siung’ in ‘Chloe’ and lastly,

“Ni shi xia zai qi fu ta kan!’ (dare you to bully her again!) – Elvin’s speech with anger.

good-collection-26-copy

// Crew and friends.
Sheau Hung (second from left) is the Personal Assistance, Script Supervisor and Script Editor of ‘Chloe’.
Kelly Ling  (far right) is the make-up artist. All of them are nice people.

good-collection-32-copy

// Friends who came and support.

good-collection-9-copy

// Chiu Yen, roleplaying ‘Hui Wen’ in Chloe. She is getting ready for filming.

good-collection-14-copy

// Hui Wen (Chiu Yen) and
Malcolm (Samuel Ho), he is the main male lead for ‘Chloe’.
Guess what is the relationship among them?

good-collection-37-copy2

// Elvin (Calvin) in one of the scene. I shot this through the classroom’s window. He was speaking with Chloe (Emily).
‘I remembered you’ (in chinese) is his exact speech in the film with this pose.

good-collection-6-copy

// Elvin, with rich colour and contrast. Great model + Great editing = Great Picture.
@Calvin – ever paused for a second and thought, ‘who the hell is this!?’ =p

good-collection-34-copy2

// Chloe & Elvin.

good-collection-41-copy2

// Chloe (Emily). I love the chinese font used here. It’s cute. Chloe as well.

Do you feel intrigued to know the whole story, after scrolling through the photos? Apparently, the video will only be releasing  next year after completion. Shooting of all scenes is expected to complete before February 2009. Video compiling and editing takes some time as well. We will try to complete it as early as possible and once everything is done, we will make an announcement through our blogs. Till then, stay tune to our weekly progress.

I’ve got more pictures but I decided to upload these only, sorry if I’ve excluded anyone. Feel free to approach me (when I’m free) for more photo opportunities. Please drop by Chris’s blog for more up to date news and information. Jess (Ya Hui) had blogged about it too at this post. If any of the cast and crew owns a blog, please drop by and let me add you to my blog roll. Chris, notify me if you found any error regarding the information.

According to Chris Chong, 2 of the scenes requires a reshoot, 1 scene is left out due to the tight schedule, we had to shoot again. Summing up, I had fun shooting the event. I am involved in Chloe Project as a Photographer and Camera Operator (no picture of myself). Thanks everyone for the corporation and let’s continue to work hard for the common goal. For your info, I’ve edited all of these pictures, (cropping, exposure, colour, contrast etc). To get hold of the photos, please bring your storage device on the next filming. It was nice meeting you all, let’s not forget all the NGs, cheers, and hope you all enjoy the edited photos. Thanks again, feel free to drop me some comments!

Kb daytrip for project ’strawman’

4 October, 2008 Jayden 11 comments

We are now having a short break from 29th Sept to 5th October. Logic and Thinking’s assignment requires us to produce one project on any of the ‘fallacies’. We decided on the fallacy of ‘Strawman’ and named our group name ‘Strawman’. Our group consist of residents from two separate district, Brunei-Muara and Kuala Belait so the ‘bandar’ group is forced to go ‘kb’.

// Strawman project in the making. Will post a complete one when it’s done.

// Roti John from the restaurant beside Seria’s Arcade. B$2.50.(zuki?)

// Some of the kb friends. (Rachel Kuan, Debbie, Rachel Chiam, Kaiping and Aaron Leong (not in pic) is part of ’strawman’). I never got thier permission to upload thier picture so i’m reducing the size.
p.s: Tell me if you want it removed. =]

SATA: I took quite a number of pictures these days. This include Miri day, Badminton and Empire with Xinwen and friends. Will select and upload some presentable (or artistic) one up. Selamat Hari Raya to all Muslim friends.
