Rano’s 6th Anniversary

The iCentre was basically jam-packed during Rano’s 6th Anniversary Celebration. We hustled ourselves into the crowd to find it totally consumed by the atmosphere created by popular figures such as those ofReeda (anakbrunei.org), Alin (kurapak.com) and Rano himself.

Hotties: Shhh….

We then went on to check out the famous cupcakers. As promised, they showcased their best creations at the event and managed to draw crowds and photoshots to their booth! All of them were present! you name them.

Cits Cakes was there.. ↑

The sisters from Kitchen of Jasmine was there.. ↑

The Cakery. Brownies by Sas was there… ↑

Even our lecturer was there!
No, i mean. Delisioucity.com! ↑

There was never a dull moment from 3.30 to 6pm during the event. Many thanx to the MC of the day, Edgar…

and the Hot DJ who never stopped spinning hits!

Next up was the colouring, i mean make-up contest by Laneige. Beauties flocked the booth as if there was no tomorrow and registered for the contest.

Even mak cik bertudung up there participated. (she got 3rd place, don’t u dare laugh at her) ↑

And Guess What? DJ Honey from Kristal Fm won the contest!
It was uhm, a set of cosmetics i guess. ↑

Alin likes to pop in for a shot from time to time. ↑

Jimmy Johari won himself a 500Gb Lacie (2nd Place) for the photography competition. ↑

First place went to Azrol Azmi, who bagged home a Canon IXUS 80.
Oh no, that’s not him! He wasn’t there somehow, Lisa took the prize for him. ↑
and Third place went to Nizam Rahman, who won a million crumpler bag.

There were lucky draws throughout the event, it continued till the end of the day when Edgar spent some 2 hours trying to finish the lucky drawings while everyone berkurapak around. As many left earlier with their lucky numbers.

Finally! The lucky lady who won herself a mercedez watch! ↑

Chloe 7th Shooting

Chloe 7th Shooting took place at OGDC, Seria on 4th January 2009. Here are some photos of Chloe filming in progress.

Chloe 6th Shooting : open field

Chloe’s 6th shooting took place on 29th December 2008 in Seria. It lasted for around 3 hours and there were only 2 scene involving Chloe (emily) only. We had fun despite the small group. Here are ’some’ of the photos from that day. (rest were kept for the official release of the Chloe film).

// 1. Just a scenery shot. I find this picture interesting because it allows us to visualise how big the tree is, as compared to human. (it was Nick btw)

// 2. Nick framing a shot with his Nikon + 50mm.

// 3. Chloe (Emily).
This picture is purely fresh from camera. Except for the resize and watermark. I achieved this effect by ‘zooming’ out the lens while pressing the shutter. Nice effect~

// 4. Okay, my hands got itchy and tried to edit this photo for fun. I removed Chris’s hand and videocam, added effects and text. It says ’save me’ in chinese.
By the way, the film have nothing to do with kidnapping or any sort.

// 5. Group photo with sepia mode. I love the colour here!

// 6. Ah Siung’s ijump. My hands got itchy again. =]

Just in 20 hours or so, my watermarks will be changed to 2009 © Jayden Sia, instead of 2008 © Jayden Sia. It’s a new year! Some may think that this is just ‘another’ day in a year and thinks that arrival of this day is overrated. So we should not celebrate it? of course we should! Without these special days (bday, xmas etc), our life would be 365 & 1/4 days the same without any event! It is one of the day to catch up with friends.. anyways..

Happy Advanced New 2009 to my friends, family, relatives and readers. Thank you all for visiting and dropping by often, I’ll update my blog more frequently. Chloe’s 6th shooting is done, will be blogging about it soon. Let’s enjoy our new year eve and countdown to the max~ take care everyone. =] any new year resolution? or are you gonna make one only during CNY?

Chloe 4th Shooting

Chloe’s 4th shooting took place on 21st December 2008, at CCMS, Seria. As usual, we started as early as 8:30am and ended around 4pm. It was a tiring day but we have already get used to the long hours. I hope that the director get used to shoot for this long hours too. Here’s a few pictures of that day.

Big thanks to all the people involved in this Chloe Short film project, we appreciate your effort, time and contribution. Next Chloe filming is on the 28th and 29th December 2008. It’ll be the last 2 shooting in the year 2008. So, let us do our best and complete this short film, together.

Chloe 3rd Shooting

8th December of 2008 was another day for Chloe filming.It took place at Chung Ching Middle School, Seria and it was our 3rd shooting. In the morning, they were re-shooting our previous scenes which were not qualified. New extra scenes were in the afternoon. Elvin (Calvin) and I reached around 1:30pm and the shooting session continued…

// reviewing 2nd shooting of Chloe. I like to adjust my Chloe Project’s pictures into sepia tone, especially its connected with ’school environment’. It gives me a feeling of reminiscence. This picture above is our most recent picture, however, it looked like this Chloe session is an old one. =]
