We had day trip on the 4th day of KPMC. We took a short walk from Core Riveria (our hotel) and reached a place where anyone can play with Professional Dan players.

2009-10-26 IMG_7869

This is a game where PRO Dan players (R), plays with multiple go players at the same time.

2009-10-26 IMG_7953

Just outside the hall, there are mini games like the one above. ↑

2009-10-26 IMG_7941

It’s like a see-saw where two people jumps on the side of the plank, with right timing for smooth continuous jumps.

2009-10-26 IMG_8006

Kids trying on it. Hey, it’s wrong to step on the middle on the plank. ↑

2009-10-26 IMG_8026

Another mini game where players throw the ring (he’s holding it), into a pole around 2 meters away.

This is the place where we had our lunch during the day trip. ↑

Normal small appetizers / dishes are served, as well as kimchi. But the main food is …

2009-10-26 IMG_8040

Bibimbap, vegetables and meat are mixed with rice with a raw egg placed on top. Before we eat, we should stir thoroughly, which looks like..

2009-10-26 IMG_8052

Bibimbap, tasted very good indeed. I missed it. much better than kimchi. lol

Children were dressed traditionally and played tug of war. I’m not sure it’s because they know we are coming, or it’s their everyday routine.

She’s cute, and very enthusiastic in winning. Happy girl. ↑

2009-10-26 IMG_8120

25 October, 2008 Jayden 5 comments

// The match between FOS and IM in determining who is the champion in this ’round-robin-styled’ inter – faculty basketball tournament.

// // FOS (Faculty of Science) emerged as the champion after the exciting duel with IM (Institute of Medicine) in the last match. FBEPS 1 (Faculty of Business, Economics and Policy Studies, Team 1) is placed second and IM third.

In Woman’s category, SHBIE (Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Insitute of Education) is crowned as the champion, with FOS and IM being the 1st and 2nd runner up respectively. (No pic). For more information regarding the scores or pictures of the players in action during tournament, please visit http://ubdbballclub.wordpress.com. Below here are some of the ‘on match’ pictures between FOS and IM which I personally think its good. (with slight adjustment and cropping)
